In box with dealer catalogue (item 65) and copy of e-mail relating to provenance.

Painted wooden door plaque for The Hogarth Press. Painted black, with raised cream lettering, now darkened to grey, with screw holes on either side. The plaque almost certainly dates from shortly after the Woolfs, and their press, moved into 52 Tavistock Square in March 1924.
