Plate opposite page 174, in: Allen, Charles, -1793. A new and improved Roman history : from the foundation of the city of Rome to its final dissolution as the seat of empire, in the year of Christ 476, including a period of about 1228 years, from its commencement under Romulus. The second edition, embellished with four copper plates.

Size of image: 15 cm x 9 cm

The "four copper plates" were engraved by William Blake after designs of Henry Fuseli. Cf. Keynes, G. Bib. of William Blake, p. 244.
